Blog Post #3 - More About Me

 

Attached above is a photo of me. In my other blog post I mentioned I'm a 911 dispatcher but I am also a volunteer firefighter. I have been a volunteer firefighter since December of 2021. I have taken many courses and classes to get where I am at now in both firefighting and 911 dispatching.  I take a lot of pride in being able to help those in need as my job and in my free time. The attached photo was taken during a structure fire in a neighboring coverage area. 

Though it seems like I have zero free time between firefighting and my job, I have a decent amount of it. In my free time I will usually play video games or watch movies with my girlfriend. Occasionally on my days off, I will take road trips for the day and go to somewhere I've never been or go on hikes. Currently I only go myself due to my girlfriend and I's schedule not lining up but that will soon change. Nature and being outside play a huge role in my life. I love being outside and doing activities like hiking or fishing. 

But when I am home I will use websites such as reddit.com to find answers on questions I may have or the very obvious google.com which I'm sure we all use every single day. But the website I can say I definitely use the most is spotify.com. Music plays the biggest role in my life. One of my favorite songs is what I actually named my blog after, Heaven Up There by Palace. I listen to a wide arrange of music, being country, classical, indie, rock, alternate and the list going on and on. Even while I'm working or doing school work or even hiking I will have some sort of music playing.
